The video opens with the standard promo clip for the JCR NMC including stylized images of JCRs shooting their air rifles at a target which contains the title and objectives of the NMC. In the background is up-tempo funky music.
The Reviewing Officer for the Closing Ceremonies to the 2012 JCR NMC was Lieutenant Colonel Russell Francis, Director of Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers - 3.
The third place team was from 5 CRPG with a score of 1561. Its members were: Kalin Poole, Ocean King, Cassandra Pye, Hillary Roberts and Evan Pye.
The second place team was from 4 CRPG with a score of 1585. Its members were: Austin McPherson, Samantha Comer, Kyle Dingwall, Chelsea Colcol and Dustin Saunders
The first place team, was from 2 CRPG with a score of 1652. Its members were: Bianca Cote, Jesse Beaudoin, Julia Lucassie, Fred Dumas and Jonathan Thibeault
The top shot for the championship, with a score of 413, was JCR Brady Cunard from the 5 CRPG Port Saunders team.
This year the National Marksmanship Championship added an additional award, the Spirit Award. The first winner of the NMC Spirit Award for 2012, was JCR Madison Ruben of Paulatuk, 1 CRPG.
The video concludes with the Credits including identification of Corporal Carbe Orellana and Private Kenneth Gailbraith as the Camera Operators and the Video Editors.
Finally there is identification that this is an official Government of Canada film including assertion of copyright for the Crown by the Department of National Defence.
